1. All The Light We Cannot See

So this is a book I've just been bumping into every time I've been in a bookstore. I finally bought it and I must say that in no way do I regret my decision. I've been into war stories off late and this book is based around that time as well. It's about a blind girl from France and a young German soldier. So far, I've been loving the way the book has been written and I'm very excited to see how the story goes!

2. One Day

As you guys know, I'm an absolute sucker for romantic novels when I read about this book, I just had to get it! It's a story about two friends who meet when they are twenty three. The story follows their individual lives, how they both get into different relationship, jobs, travel different places and lead just normal lives really but all the while you're really hoping they end up together, because their friendship stays strong through it all. Of course, it's not the perfect friendship, they do have their share of ups and downs and cold shoulders and the main guy even ends up getting married AND having a kid! But you still hold on to hope and finally, after twenty years of knowing each other, they do end up together. Everything is going on just like you wanted and hoped it would and BAM! The author writes in a major game changer. You never see it coming. Now, I'm not going to spoil it for you, but lets just say that it scarred me. I was literally distraught for days. So do give it a read to go on their adventure and find out!

3. The Time Traveler's Wife

This book is quite an old one and has been made into a movie. The movie does this book no justice. The book is written quite haphazardly but in the end, or even as you read, it all starts falling into place. So this is a book about a time traveler but he cannot choose which place or time he goes to and once in ends up in a new time he ends up stark naked. So he can just disappear and reappear at any time. He does find a wife who accepts him despite all this. The book takes you through many of his adventures through time and it's all very exciting and everybody is happy and what not but of course, like every book I seem to choose, something bad happens in the end. I know what happens and I don't want it to happen therefore I haven't been able to will myself into reading the last few chapters because I know it will hit me like a hurricane and leave me distraught. But reading the book took me to another world and time, a beautiful one that too so I do strongly recommend this book!

4. The Very Thought Of You

Sticking to my sudden fascination with war stories, this book is about that period s well. I haven't read much from this book, I'm about a hundred pages in and I am loving it. I find the life they had to live in those times so intriguing. This one focuses on a girl who has to leave home and move to the countryside with hundreds of other kids because of the impending war. She is sent to a place called Ashton Park, where the owners are quite fascinating and just, what they had to deal with in those times, just really makes you appreciate the present and takes you on an emotional journey. I cannot wait to see where this book is heading
