Thank You. ~ Quote Post 2
Friday, January 01, 2016In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. ~Albert Schweitzer
Hello everybody!HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Today marks the end of 365 days of 2015, which includes 365 days of using a phone, 365 days of moments, 365 days of watching TV, 365 days of love, 365 days of discovering yourself and 365 days of memories.
For today's post I thought I'd combine two of my favorite things to write. One being my quote posts and second being my online letter of appreciation to all the people who have influenced my life last year! I did one for 2014 and I thought the best way to kick off 2016 on That Indian Blogger would be to thank everybody!
2015 was quite an eventful year, for me at least. I went all the way from being at my all time low to successfully accomplishing an ultimate childhood dream of mine! The roller coaster I was on in 2015 was definitely an unpredictable one and along the way an astounding number of people got on this roller coaster and joined me for the ride!
First off I'd like to thank my second family, Pamru, Vitsy, Sammy, Manu, Nita and Andu! You guys have played such a major part in my life this year. I don't think any of you realize how you've impacted my life! This year there were many points where I lost all confidence in myself and even in the people around me and so many people left but you guys stuck around and made me feel better and I will forever be grateful to each of you. You guys mean the world to me. Thank You.
Next I'd like to thank my first family, my biological one, my first best friends, my mum and dad and of course my little brother! You guys look out for and I know that if every one of my friends abandon me, you guys will be there. You accept me for who I am and the lessons you teach will never be forgotten. Thank You.
I'd also like to thank Sushu, Vid and Liki. You guys were amazing friends last year and we share such amazing memories and unfortunately I haven't been able to actually meet you guys in over 10 months! :O The amazing thing is that you guys still text, still keep in touch, still want to know what's going on in my life no matter how boring or depressing it may be and for that I'm grateful because you guys give me hope that no distance is too big to be bridged by friendship! Thank You.
Also a special thank you to Ahanaa. It's crazy that we have never met but you are one of the nicest people I know and you put a smile on my face everytime we text! Again, you give me hope because even though we're more than a 1000kms apart, it doesn't seem to affect our friendship. That being said, I really look forward to meeting you in person the next time you're in Bangalore or I'm in the U.S. Thank You.
Also thank you to all those with whom I've had long meaningless yet amazing and fun conversations with, whether it be online or in person. This year I became a bit reclusive but you guys still made an attempt to make me feel better or just strike up a conversation when you saw me sitting alone in class or something. These kind of things honestly make my day because I experience these absolute low points sometimes, I never know why and I just become so depressed so when you guys make that feeling go away, I cannot be happier. Thank You.Finally, thank YOU. Yes you. The reader of this blog post! Writing and reading is something that I absolutely love and you guys support me on this platform and encourage me and that just moves me. Makes me want to be a better person for you guys! A massive Thank You for all the support and love you've given me in 2015 and I really hope I can make you guys proud and you continue on this journey with me into 2016. Just Thank You. :')
I love you guys. Hope you and your friends and family have an amazing year ahead!
May the odds be ever in your favor. ;)
