If You Could See Me Now

Hello there everybody!
Very kind of you to take some time off and read this, means a LOT to me. Ugh I'm being too sappy aren't I? Oh well. :P
So as some of you probably know, books are my ULTIMATE escape. You know, that break from reality that we all require once in a while! And recently, I've learnt that Cecilia Ahern's books (author of PS. I Love You, Where Rainbows End, Thanks For The Memories, to name a few) are THE BEST way to do that! But one book in particular, 'If You Could See Me Now' by her really got me thinking! In the book there are these people who we call "imaginary friends" but Cecilia Ahern, says that these people are very real, we may not see them, but they are very much present all around us and its just that we choose not to see them! But kids can see them. Why? I think we can strongly relate this to real life. When we grow older, we become so stressed out. At some point it happens to everyone! We hardly have time on our hands, we don't even find time to pee, let alone think! And this is all inevitable, regardless of the profession you choose, the stream you pick etc etc etc! Its more or less a fundamental thing we face while growing up and I believe that somewhere along the line we just lose ourselves a bit and forget to look around us! Now if you're in college and you look at a plant, you probably, deep down, don't really look at it as a plant! You probably think about the Phloem, the Xylem, the Chlorophyll, the Chloroplasts, the Photosynthesis, bla bla bla! You cannot just see the plant, as a plant, a beautiful thing that somehow grows of the dirt in the ground and can take care of itself all by itself! Now a kid would see it as just that, and see the beauty of it. The Beauty In Small Things. But us young adults and grown ups? We just forget. And I think we should remember not to forget because it will make living life a whole lot easier! There are very bad people in this world. Extremely, unthinkable horrid things happen to good people and are carried out by bad people! Its also something that's inevitable and bound to happen to people and just thinking of it has the ability to just piss us off and we may even want to just give up on everything but no. Don't. Whenever you feel this way, just stop, even if you have a really important test the next day and you are freaking out, and you think you're finally going to break (pretty much like how I felt a week ago, before my Chemistry test), just stop whatever it is that you're doing and take a deeeep breath and look around you, look and The Beauty In Small Things and that will give you that little extra you need to make it through your day and get a step closer to your goal. Just remember to not forget and you'll do great, I assure you! The Beauty In Small Things. :') Don't forget.
